When I was a child, one of the most exciting feelings of all time was getting something new. From the moment I would unwrap it or unbox it, I would just be filled with excitement and anticipation. In fact, that exhilarating feeling, still today, is so easily triggered and this Dec 20, 2024, I will be 1 year shy of having lived on planet earth a whopping four complete decades. Yup, my point has been made: some things don't die. Obviously, there is some kind of chemical released in the brain (dopamine?) when we get something new and shiny. With that, it is with great pleasure I introduce to some and present to others, the brand-new and improved Maldon Language Interpreters, LLC (MALDON) company brand. Consider this write up as your personal unboxing or unwrapping of our company's newly done rebranding.
www.MaldonInterpreting.com has undergone a face lift. It is now much easier to use. As an interpreting agency, language and communication is our expertise. We wanted to create a website that was easy to navigate, and also simple for government employees, school officials, and personnel from attorney offices and doctor offices --to request interpreters. So, functionality, flavor, and focus were the most important things that our team zoned in on during the rework.
FUNCTIONALITY
Our website’s address has not change since we started our small business well over a decade ago, but what has changed is how you can request an interpreter. It’s even more simple now, you simply click on SCHEDULE INTERPRETER and you will be directed to a working form. Complete this form fully. Once you submit, you will get an email letting you know that the form has been properly submitted. The details of your request are sent directly to the company’s Leadership Team. As soon as the requested assignment has been assessed, you will receive further details from MALDON (but rest assured, your request has been received). Our hope is that you can see the attention to detail we have placed in this process. It’s easy and efficient. We can easily keep track of your request. It goes directly to our calendar. Granted, payment arrangements and other details may still need to be completed before it is confirmed, but it is nonetheless on our radar. MALDON has a very HIGH fill rate regarding jobs. That means we don’t miss assignments very often. We actually pride ourselves on filling difficult, last-minute jobs without much notice. Part of the reason is because we have put measures like this in place. It's also because we offer a 24/hour access line for customers needing to reach our business office right away. FLAVOR
As you can see, MALDON has had a face lift; not only is the website newly designed, but the logo is brand new too. We think this logo is easier to recognize and easier to associate with our company. The large, bold “M” with the hands just screams MALDON, doesn’t it? What’s the flavor? Thanks for asking. The flavor is bold and vibrant.
FOCUS
The wonderful thing about our rebrand, newness and facelift is that there is one thing that goes unchanged. MALDON has the same focus as it has always in terms of interpreting. We specialize in American Sign Language (ASL) interpreting services. We also provide spoken language interpreting services (i.e. Spanish, French, etc). That laser-focus service provision will not change. However, we added to that focus. Now, MALDON is so proud to have also broadened its focus, we provide training and professional development to professional interpreters and future interpreters. Our Education page offers workshops and other ways for people to connect and learn.
